Buddhist monks walking across U bein's Bridge, Myanmar (Burma), Amarapura, near Mandalay. U bein’s Bridge was built in 1850, crossing Lake Taungthaman; it is the longest teak wood bridge in the world (.75 miles or 1.2 kilometers long). The peaceful surroundings and beautiful scenery make it a wonderful place to sit, relax and watch life go by. Amarapura was a former capital of Myanmar (Burma). https://www.henrywestheim.com
